Project LAND 155 – the Enhanced Gap-Crossing Capability (EGCC) Project – is a major capital acquisition residing in the Land Manoeuvre Systems Branch of Land Systems Division within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).

It is being led by Jacobs Australia as managing contractor.

LAND 155 will provide the Australian Defence Force with a range of combat-bridging capabilities, including the Medium Girder Bridge, Dry Support Bridge, Improved Ribbon Bridge, Footbridge and the upgraded Bridge Erection and Propulsion Boats – all of which will allow troops and vehicles to cross a range of wet and dry gaps in support of combat operations and disaster-relief activities.

This new combat bridging capability can be deployed and constructed using minimal manpower and will enable the ADF to tackle complex physical terrain features such as rivers, ravines and other natural and man-made gaps.
