Making a chunky latchbolt

I spent some time with my brother recently and, during one of our conversations, he mentioned he was on the lookout for a chunky latchbolt to secure his garage.

Since I feel I owe him a belated birthday present (my first attempt was lame), I thought I could make him one.

So this video follows that process – making it up on the fly, as usual.

But, I’m quite chuffed with the outcome. I hope my brother will be too.
