Veterans’ Affairs Minister comes surfing

The Veteran Surf Project in Gerroa NSW was very pleased to welcome Australia’s Minister for Veterans’ Affairs Andrew Gee out for a surf with us today.

The weather was rubbish – but no one cared.

I think we were in the water for near-on three hours – and the minister was among the very last to leave.

He even said he’d be back for a Christmas-holidays surf with us.

We sort of made him an honorary member of our tribe today – which means we just had to tag his car with a Veteran Surf Project sticker 😉
