US Marines in Darwin undergo COVID-19 test

US Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin received a second COVID-19 test during their quarantine on Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin on June 12.

The COVID-19 test was administered to each Marine after arriving from California.

No Marines tested positive for COVID-19.

All Marines were quarantined for 14 days and will undergo an additional test before quarantine release.

The visiting US Marine Corps members and their Australian Defence Force hosts are working together to ensure the safety of the local community.
