Canadian De Havilland DHC-4 Caribou were set to feature at this month’s event, to mark the 56th anniversary of their acquisition by RAAF.
Caribou were the longest-serving operational airframe in the Royal Australian Air Force, having served for 45 years from 1964 to 2009.
EDITOR’S NOTE: CONTACT was informed by phone this morning (but we were having a little lie in and didn’t see the voice-mail message until afternoon).
