Jet support for two WA Cadet activities
Australian Army and Air Force Cadets in Western Australian will get fast-jet support for two separate activities in WA this weekend.

On Sunday 30 September Australian Army Cadets will finish their annual field exercise with a final parade at Bindoon Airstrip in Bindoon, WA.
On the same day the Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) of 711 Squadron will exercise their Freedom of Entry to the City of Geraldton with a parade on the Geraldton foreshore.
Both activities will feature a flypast by a Hawk 127 lead-in-fighter trainer aircraft, based at RAAF Base Pearce.
At Bindoon, the jet will fly over the Army Cadets’ parade at noon, at more than 800km/hr and about 75m above ground level.
In Geraldton, the jet will conduct up to three flypasts over the parade at approximately 2.25pm, 2.45pm, and 2.56pm, approaching from the north-east and depart to the south-west, flying at no lower than 150 meters above ground level.
All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
