DVA failing everyone who touches it

Dear Editor,

DVA’s problems are not just about veterans struggling with the system.

Staff describe burnout and relentless process change. Clinicians are walking away because dealing with DVA is too difficult. Veterans are left carrying the consequences.

When employees, health providers and veterans are all telling versions of the same story, the problem is the system itself.

Matt Keogh is the minister responsible for that system.

Eventually, accountability has to reach the top.
