Veteran HELP Centre

I got the keys, planted my sign in concrete in the front garden – then went home to find an email that effectively ended my partnership.

Wooohooo!!! We finally have keys for what will shortly become the new Veteran H.E.L.P. Centre in Kiama, NSW.

Trailer-packing day is here. Getting organised –– that sign, check –– shovel, check –– cement, check –– keys for the building, check with council….

CONTACT 67 will be out on 1 September – and that was one of the big-ticket items I had to clear off my plate before we move into the new Veteran HELP Centre

Soldier On is hiring – seeking a full-time staff member to work at the new CONTACT Soldier On Veteran HELP Centre in Kiama, NSW.

Sometimes it’s just little things that can ‘get on top of you’, and when it happens, I change my environment – do something different – or buy a new gizmo.

YEAH!!! I got my ugly mug in the local paper today – so I rushed out and bought 10 copies – as you do. And it was a nice big spread too.

I posed in front of someone else’s camera for a change when the local newspaper phoned to ask about my Veteran H.E.L.P. Centre, and sent a photographer out.

I’ve already hosted my third official out-of-town visitor at the Veteran H.E.L.P. Centre in Kiama – and I don’t even have keys yet.

I am getting very nervous – though ‘anxious’ is probably a better word – waiting with growing frustration to get my hands on ‘those’ keys.

A quick update and another look at where our new building is and how find it – because we had our first visitor on Saturday, and directions proved handy.

Today is the day I fess up about that big secret I’ve been teasing you with. I sincerely hope you think it was worth the wait?
