Five new COVID-19 cases in Defence today
Defence added five new cases of COVID-19 today – the biggest single daily increase since June 30.
Unlike the June spike when all five cases were ‘overseas’, today’s cases are a bit more spread out, with two ‘overseas’, two in Queensland (from a total of 3 new cases in that State, possibly associated with Brisbane Airport movements) and one in New South Wales (which is dealing with a significant cluster in the Northern Beaches area, possibly linked to Sydney Airport movements).
Today’s numbers bring Defence’s total to 125 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Two ADF cases were also added to ‘recovered’ list today, for a total of 114.
