No new COVID-19 cases in Defence for four days

Defence has not recorded a new case of COVID-19 since mid Friday last week, with every update since reflecting nil change to the running total.

“Defence is currently managing 30 confirmed cases in the locations illustrated above,” Defence said in an update issued at 5pm this evening.

That’s the same number updated at 13.30pm on 4 April when they added their 30th case to the list.

It is now four weeks since Defence issued its first statement that it was managing two cases of the virus infection, on 9 March.

There is no update or information as to how Defence members are coping with the disease – though we are assuming, from the figures, that none have yet recovered.

You can see a chronology of every Defence case as they were announced, here.
