First Australian to fly the F-35A

Royal Australian Air Force pilot Squadron Leader Andrew Jackson made history at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, on 18 March when he became the first Australia to fly an F-35A Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter – and finished his pilot training on April 23.
