Got a taste for World of Tanks riding in a Centurion

Thanks to World of Tanks and South Gippsland Tank Adventures, I got to ride in an ex-Aussie Army Centurion tank this week – and the experience didn’t disappoint.

The 52-tonne, V12-engined behemoth still bashes the Aussie bush with all the grace and nobility of a 650-horsepowered wrecking machine.

All this action was a very fitting precursor to the launch of an Aussie Centurion in the game-phenomenon World of Tanks, which has more than 160 million players world wide.

The Aussie Centurion was formally launched in the game today, 11 May 2018, as a tier 8 asset and should offer a great sense of nostalgia – as well as significant hitting power and survivability – to the plethora of Australian players in World of Tanks.
