Exercise Albatross AUSINDO 23
Exercise Albatross AUSINDO is a training exercise between the Royal Australian Air Force and the Indonesian Air Force (Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Udara, or TNI-AU).

It is part of a series of bilateral exercises conducted by both Air Forces, providing an opportunity for aviator-level engagement and knowledge exchange.
Exercise Albatross AUSINDO 23 took place out of RAAF Base Darwin in the Northern Territory between 20-24 May 2023 and included RAAF P-8A Poseidon and TNI-AU Boeing 737 maritime patrol aircraft.
On 25 May 2023, Air Commander Australia Air Vice-Marshal Darren Goldie hosted Air Staff Talks with Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Operations (ASOPS) Air Vice-Marshal Minggit Tribowo from the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) at RAAF Base Darwin, Northern Territory.
This is the first time Australia has been able to host this engagement since 2018 and it coincided with Exercise Albatross AUSINDO, affirming a joint commitment to maritime security.
Air Vice-Marshal Goldie was pleased to congratulate Air Vice-Marshal Tribowo on his recent appointment as TNI-AU ASOPS and welcomes the opportunity to work closely alongside him during their respective tenures.
