Before low-level flying along the Brisbane River and around the CBD, the helicopters in the Army’s display team will wait in a holding pattern over Indooroopilly Golf Course for 10 minutes at 5.15pm and, during the display, two helicopters will hold above Victoria Park Golf Course between 5.35pm and 5.42pm.
Fast, high-powered passes by military jets in a city environment will create significant noise.
The public should not be alarmed when they see or hear military aircraft flying low over inner-city suburbs.
All flying is subject to change due to weather or operational requirements – but if it happens – watch out for WOW!!!
