G’Day Brother
Herewith a wee small idea for a Comp you may wish to run….
Let’s have a comp for a design for Australia’s Nuclear Submariners Qualifying badge.
Let’s get Australia excited by the prospect of running Nukie Boats, for they are the best of the best, and, there will be (I’m sure) a push one day for Australia’s nuclear-qualified submariners to be specially decorated (at least while we run both conventional and nuclear boats together (one day)(long overlap when both will no doubt be in service).
We should really be able to tell one from the other instantly.

This is going to be a great opportunity for me to show off my artistic skills, which have come a long way from the days when I would draw enemy field defenses as a form of exercise.
Dear Stephen Blake,
You, my friend, are a party pooper! I just got my crayons out! I am looking forward to this competition to display my artistic abilities, they have improved since my days drawing enemy field defences on exercise! Also, I sent Brian something for Christmas; and, I may be in with a chance to win it back!

Go Dolphins! Go Nuclear Dolphins!
We will never need nor want a ‘nuclear-qualified’ submarine badge, because the strength of the bond between submariners, represented by our dolphins, is not dependent on whether or not there’s a kettle or diesel engine getting us where few others dare to go.
