Defence now COVID-19 free
For the first time since Defence copped its first COVID-19 cases – on 9 March last year – the number of cases now on Defence’s ‘recovered’ list equals the total number of cases contracted in Defence.
That means Defence is completely rid of the disease! – and long may that last.
After accumulating a total of 197 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since March last year, Defence officially changed its ‘recovered’ list to 197 this afternoon.
You can see a full chronology of when and ‘where’ all Defence cases were accumulated, and when people ‘recovered’ in CONTACT’s unique running tally here.
CONTACT sincerely hopes this will be the last report of COVID-19 affecting our ADF (except, of course, in their ongoing COVID-19 battles both domestic and now overseas as well).
Good luck and stay safe.
