In the past 12 months, Classics for a Cause have successfully managed to give more than $2million dollars to veteran charities.
CAPTION: Limited-edition signed prints by Tim Page for sale through Classics for a Cause.
They have also assisted in funding important and life-changing programs that are genuinely improving the health and wellbeing of Aussie veterans.
A Classics for a Cause spokesperson said they were always looking for new ways to give back to the veteran community and, through their work with veteran organisations, a relationship was formed with legendary war photographer Tim Page.
Through this relationship, Tim has generously offered to let Classics for a Cause print some of his images – and, he would sign more that 200 images he personally photographed during his time in the Vietnam war working for Life and Time magazine.
Tim Page is one of the worlds most infamous of the hundreds of photographers, photojournalists, war correspondents and writers ever and has been named as one of the ‘100 most influential photographers of all time’!
Tim was very fortunate to survive Vietnam, after he jumped out of helicopter to help load wounded and was blown up by a landmine.
He was officially pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, but came to and spent most of the 1970s in recovery.
Classics for a Cause said this collaboration with Tim Page was not only a great way to give back to Aussie veterans but was also a great way to commemorate and remember the challenging, horrendous and violent conditions that soldiers endured during the Vietnam war.
It also reminds us to reflect on the sacrifice that Aussie soldiers go through to protect and serve their country.
You can purchase one of these very rare and highly sought-after images from the Classics for a Cause Tim Page gallery.
All profits from the sale will be donated to veteran charities.
All prints come with a signed and stamped certificate of authenticity from Tim Page and will be delivered within seven business days.
