Defence COVID-19 cases climb further

After adding a new case of COVID-19 to it tally on Saturday, Defence added another on Sunday, bringing their total to 103 overall.

Both cases on this past weekend were diagnosed ‘overseas’, bringing the total acquired out of country to 49.

The number listed as ‘recovered’ remains the same at 95 – unchanged since 7 November.

‘Overseas’ [at best guess, mostly Middle East with one in PNG] remains Defence’s most problematic location for contracting the disease, followed by Victoria on 19, NSW 15, Queensland 7, South Australia 6, ACT 5, plus 1 each in the NT and WA.

For future reference/history, CONTACT is keeping a publically-viewable/searchable index of ADF COVID-19 cases – because Defence isn’t. Find that here, if you’re interested.
