33km in 3 weeks – what’s the big deal?

Is walking 33km in three weeks a big deal?

It is is when you’re 101 years old!

And, it is when you’ve raised nearly $50,000 for charity.

Former Army Sergeant Bert Le-Merton set out on a 96 kilometre fundraising walk just three weeks ago – and is already one-third through the Kokoda-Track-length march.

The ‘Rat of Tobruk’ and Borneo veteran is also nearly five times beyond his initial fundraising goal of $10,000 – but seemingly on a very slow climb to the $50k milestone.

Please help Sergeant Bert get over his $50k hump – and cheer him on as he heads for the half-way mark in his 96km March On for Soldier On.
