Introduction

This reunion is being organised on behalf of your group by nearly all ex 2RAR who are not part of your reunion but would like to help you commemorate and enjoy yourselves.

We aren’t paid and are volunteers so please support us and come.

We hope that you do make the effort and renew friendships from long ago.

Saturday 29th August

Meet and great at RSL ($10 per person)

 

Sunday 30th August

Free Day

Formal reunion Dinner at RSL ($70 per person)

 

Monday 31st August – Malaya and Borneo Veteran’s Day

Back to the Battalion, Day at 2RAR (Amphib) including:

0900 to 1000 – Arrival at Battalion headquarters

1000 to 1100 – Memorial Service & wreath laying (Appropriate Dress, Tie & Medals to be worn)

Group Photos then Move to Edgar Towner VC Club

1100 to 1230 – Welcome by CO and Presentation on 2RAR (Amphib) and Display by soldiers

1230 to 1330 – BBQ lunch ($10 per person)

1230 to 1700 – Bar Open, 2 RAR Historical Collection Open, Indoor Shooting Range Open

Please note: For entry to 2RAR Lavarack Barracks, you will require enclosed shoes and Photo ID, please bring a Hat and water bottle
