SUBMIT YOUR STORIES:

CONTACT now allows, invites and encourages our fans to submit their own* posts for publication on our web site – the best of which could be reproduced in CONTACT magazine.

*For copyright reasons ‘own posts’ means written by the person submitting. Please don’t submit somebody else work without their permission.

Posts can be on any topic – but should be relevant in some way to the CONTACT audience. We’d like to see news, advice, humour, poetry, tall tales or true – relevant to the serving and veteran military audiences.

For now, posts will be vetted before being made public. This could take up to 24 hours, but usually less. If you become a trusted author (at our discretion), you may be allowed to post direct, without vetting.

We reserve the right to edit or even delete posts, as we see fit, to conform with our standards, copyright law etc.

We may contact you to discuss our edits – but we might not, if we think it unnecessary.

Use the submission form here to write your story and add up to 2 supporting photos.

You can also send stories or ask questions by emailing editor@militarycontact.com or phone 0408 496 664.

G’Day Brian, I’ve recently signed up to read your excellent work.

Have a question mate. Would it be possible to include an article over the next several months about a large gathering of veterans on the Gold Coast ? The occasion is a massive reunion in July 2020 for the Services Australian Football Association (SAFA) for those former Defence personnel who played State, Combined Service and National aussie rules teams during the 1970s – 1990s period. RSL queensland are supporting and attending the function in which personnel who were selected in the National team over the period will be honoured with Legend awards together with special mention of those several who have passed away.

If this is acceptable, I would be able to send you all the detail plus photos from this period.

Best wishes and keep up the good work.
