Staff Cadets from Royal Military College, first class are in Whyalla, conducting a wide range of Stability Operations in fictional scenarios.

The purpose of Stability Operations are to maintain or establish a secure environment, creating the conditions for the provision of essential government services, emergency infrastructure reconstruction or humanitarian relief.
The training package is designed to introduce Staff Cadets to a changing battlespace, with numerous and unpredictable threats, all operating in and amongst local civilian populations.
The Stability Operations Exercise was conducted in Whyalla, South Australia, from 11-22 Nov 2017.
