Today, 5 February, Frankston Veterans Centre was invited to visit the Australian Air Force Cadets 406 Squadron Frankston open day.

Displays featuring were team building, interaction workshops, fieldcraft, aviation seminars and a demonstration of the cadets’ skills in marching.

The open day was for prospective new members looking at joining this premier youth development organisation.

It was a chance to see and experience what the cadets do in the Air Force Cadets.

The first night for new recruits who did decide to join is Wednesday 8 February 2017.

The Frankston RSL for many years has had great support from 406 Squadron for Commemoration Services on ANZAC day and Remembrance Day, as well as support with Remembrance Day charity collection appeals.

The members of Frankston Veterans Centre who attended 406 Squadron’s open day today thank Bree Neve and the rest of 406 Squadron for the invitation to be part of a very special day.
