Britain takes delivery of third A400M

The UK Ministry of Defence announced it has taken delivery of its third A400M Atlas.

The next-generation transport aircraft took off from the assembly plant in Seville, Spain, and landed at its new home at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire last night after a two-and-a-half-hour flight.

Third of 22 A400M Atlas to be accepted by the UK, the aircraft is part of a £2.75 billion programme which the MoD says is on track to meet the UK’s future air mobility requirements.
